As for cleaning
It was a breeze to clean up!! I turn off the heat control after the meal is over. I put a few falling towels of wet paper on the grill floor, change the heat control back to high for about a minute. When the steam begins to rise from the wet towels, I shut down the power, and with the same paper towels, wipe down the grill, then dry, it cleans very easily. The food doesn’t stick, and the cleaning is quick. Any smoke whatsoever if you put water in the drip pan.
Nothing is quite like a good charcoal fire’s burning and fires, but indoors or outdoors, it cooks quite, very well, with little effort.
I suggest covering the grill and food with aluminum foil to speed up pre-heating and keep splatters down. I think I can get some shallow metal foil trays that suit the grill size, they look like they should fit well to use as lids.
